ranks.yml
Rank rows, columns, adding ranks and presets.
plugins/RankedSMPX/ranks.yml defines the rank pool and each rank's perks. The shipped file has rows -1, 0, and 1 to 20.
ranks:
-1: { prefix: "&0[&8BLACKLISTED&0] &r", suffix: "" }
0: { hearts: 10.0, xp: 1.0, potion: 1.0, slots: 0, prefix: "&e[&7UNRANKED&e] &r", suffix: "" }
1: { hearts: 20.0, xp: 3.0, potion: 2.0, slots: 54, prefix: "&e[#1] &r", suffix: "" }
2: { hearts: 19.5, xp: 2.9, potion: 1.96, slots: 54, prefix: "&e[#2] &r", suffix: "" }Rows
| Row | Meaning |
|---|---|
-1 | Blacklisted players. Only prefix and suffix are used. |
0 | Unranked players |
1 and up | Ranked players. 1 is the top rank. |
Columns
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
hearts | Max health in hearts (1 heart = 2 HP) |
xp | XP gain multiplier |
potion | Potion duration multiplier |
slots | Extra /inv slots. 0 = none, max 54. |
prefix | Tab list label. & codes or MiniMessage. |
suffix | Tab list suffix |
Add a rank
Add one line with the next number, then run /rsmp reload.
21: {}
22: { hearts: 10.0, xp: 1.0 }Anything you leave out is filled in:
hearts,xp,potion,slots,suffixare copied from the rank above.prefixbecomes&e[#<number>] &r.
The rank count is the highest row. Use 1, 2, 3... with no gaps. Season start, auto-assign, /rsmp commands, Discord roles, the leaderboard, LuckPerms and the database all follow the new count. Players keep their rank when you add rows.
Lowering the count
Do not lower the highest row during a season. Players holding a rank above it lose that rank the next time /rsmp fix runs.
Presets
/rsmp modern and /rsmp original rewrite the prefix values. The file is rewritten, so back up custom comments first.
Upgrades
If ranks.yml is missing, rank values from older config.yml layouts are imported. An existing ranks.yml is kept. Backups go to plugins/RankedSMPX/backups/.
